cleanish / KLEE-nish / adj. / somewhat clean
For over 10 years, I have been living what I consider a “cleanish” life. After challenges with autoimmune issues in my mid-twenties, I changed my lifestyle to help reduce my toxic load. I went to an extreme which was needed at the time to ensure I wouldn’t have a lifelong chronic illness. I didn’t eat out for over 6 months or even reheat my food in a microwave (as that changes the molecular structure). I swapped out every makeup, hair and cleaning product I used to be all natural or organic. This was wayyyy before it was popular so there weren’t a lot of mainstream resources or products. Luckily, I have a family member who is a doctor, nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner. She is the smartest lady I know, helped me get healthy and has taught me a lot over the years. I have reached a happy medium of maintaining a cleanish life. This is a realistic way to be health conscious and still enjoy everything this amazing life has to offer.

Nothing is sponsored and this is my personal opinion after spending too much money on way too many products!
